Bixby brings both personal and professional experience to his role at SOS. Growing up in a large family impacted by addiction and recovery, he developed a deep understanding of the challenges many individuals and families face. He is especially passionate about helping people with similar lived experiences, particularly those navigating criminal justice involvement, mental health challenges, and substance use.

Originally from Laconia, New Hampshire, Bixby is proud of the work he’s done in his own recovery journey, including completing NH Detox, the Bonfire program, and working the 12 steps while continuing his recovery journey every day. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his daughters, reading and learning new things, cheering on the Patriots and Celtics, and giving back to the community that supported him.
