Kaden Taylor (he, him), Family Recovery Support Coordinator

Kaden brings compassion, lived experience, and a healthy dose of humor to his role at SOS Recovery. Raised in the Seacoast and now living in New Durham, he has faced homelessness, poverty, mental health challenges, domestic violence, juvenile justice involvement, and being a child of an incarcerated parent raised in foster care.

His path into recovery advocacy was shaped by profound personal loss and his experiences supporting his four children through parental substance use challenges. He works passionately with LGBTQIA+ individuals, families, adolescents, and those impacted by the criminal justice system. Kaden is also transgender and began his transition at age 14, bringing both personal insight and deep empathy to his work with diverse populations. Kaden is Youth Mental Health First Aid certified, a Leadership Seacoast Class of 2025 graduate, a non-denominational ordained minister, and a USIDHR-certified Human Rights Consultant.

Outside of work, Kaden enjoys spending  time with his wife and five children (ages 2–17), “geeking out” on web development and data, and watching true crime documentaries. He lives by the belief, “If you just help enough other people get what they need, you will get everything you need.”
