Justin brings lived experience, resilience, and a deep commitment to supporting others in recovery to his role at SOS Recovery. A drug court graduate who once experienced homelessness and relied on SOS himself, he knows firsthand the challenges of finding a path to recovery, and the hope and purpose it can bring.
Justin began his journey in peer support as a residential assistant and case manager at a 90-day treatment center, later serving as house manager and program director at a local sober house for five years. He is deeply passionate about harm reduction, peer coaching, recovery capital building, SMART Recovery & Recovery Dharma (both of which he leads in the Dover center), recovery alternatives, re-entry support, ID/document recovery, housing and transportation access, family-centered recovery, and trauma-informed care.
Originally from the Seacoast, Justin lives in Berwick, ME with his 14-year-old daughter. He is CRSW-certified and a member of the honor society at NHTI, where he studies addiction counseling and maintains straight A’s. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, concerts, fishing with his daughter, haunted houses, hiking, camping, and trying new restaurants. Justin believes there are no mistakes in life, only lessons, and encourages others to never give up, because you never know when recovery might finally stick.
