Become confident, effective, and safe in your recovery support work.

Peer-based recovery support services play a crucial role in New Hampshire’s response to the current addiction epidemic. Over 2000 Recovery Coaches have been trained nation-wide using the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy curriculum. The issue of ethics in peer-based service delivery is briefly discussed in the Recovery Coach Academy; this two day training more fully addresses this critical aspect of our work.

Using presentations, small group work, role play and a decision making matrix many areas will be addressed including: defining the coaching service role and functions, coaching standards, issues of vulnerability, ethical decision making, performance enhancement and legal issues.  Space is limited.
