Peer-based recovery support services play a crucial role in New Hampshire’s response to the current addiction epidemic. Over 2000 Recovery Coaches have been trained nation-wide using the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy curriculum. The issue of ethics in peer-based service delivery is briefly discussed in the Recovery Coach Academy; this two day training more fully addresses this critical aspect of our work.Using presentations, small group work, role play and a decision making matrix many areas will be addressed including: defining the coaching service role and functions, coaching standards, issues of vulnerability, ethical decision making, performance enhancement and legal issues. Space is limited.When: Friday, April 19 7:30-8am Registration and Check In, Class will be 8am-5:15pm

Learn how to stay in your lane as a Recovery Coach

Understand the decision making process

Develop guidelines for making ethical decisions

Apply the new learning to your every day work as a Recovery Coach

CEU’s: This course satisifies 16 hour of required Ethics education hours toward NH Certified Recovery Support Worker certification. You will recieve a certificate of completion on the second training day. Attendees must be present for all training hours to receive a certificate.

Prerequisites: Completion of a Recovery Coach Academy© (RCA)
